High speed lathes and mills are great for manufacturing complex and high volume parts. 5 Axis machines like the one shown cutting the Eiffel tower can hit hard to reach angles and can reduce cutting time. It’s very satisfying to watch the lathe cut into the raw material and see the shavings fly, and the finish gradually improve.
